# Ignite Theme – primary menu padding

 * Hi – I would like to increase the padding between my menu items to make them 
   look a little more separate, but I seem to have two problems:
 * 1. When I use the jetpack style editor and copy in the piece of code for the 
   menu, the whole menu turns white until you hover over it.
 * 2. The padding increases in the height rather than the width and I can’t seem
   to find the piece of code that relates to the padding on either side of the menu
   items
