    I am using WP User FrontEnd to publish video iframe inside custom field from front end. Lets say custom field is youtube_video.

    Once I press submit button, iframe is stripped out, custom field youtube_video is empty. If I type simple text and submit it is there.

    How to disable this?

  • Hello @mllapan,

    Data with iframe is not supported inside the custom field. To make it works with the custom field, you need custom coding.

    Thanks

    @mllapan,
    You can use this snippet in your theme’s functions.php to get the result you want.

    add_action( 'wpuf_add_post_after_insert', 'rt_render_iframe',10, 4 );
    function rt_render_iframe( $post_id, $form_id, $form_settings, $form_vars ) {
        update_post_meta( $post_id, 'your_custom_meta', $_POST['your_custom_meta'] );
    }

    Replace your_custom_meta with your custom field’s meta key that is going to hold the iFrame html.

    Thanks
