 * my client is having problems keeping his iFrame code to stay on the page. I have
informed him that he shouldn’t switch between the VISUAL and TEXT editor of the
pages, fearing it may gum everything up. But I watched him recreate the issue
and it’s the weirdest thing I have ever seen.
 * He’ll paste in his iFrame code into the Content Editor is TEXT mode, click UPDATE
and when the page refreshes, the code is gone!
 * I tried on my end, but could NOT recreate the problem.
 * I asked him about which browser he is using, and he is currently using Firefox,
but he has seen this issue in Chrome, and he avoids IE like the plague.
 * I have disabled the visual editor when editing for him in his user profile, plus
I have double checked that the “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML
   automatically” is UNCHECKED.
 * I’m stumped. Anyone have any ideas on other settings I can check, or if I need
to talk to the server admin about permissions.

 * What version of WordPress is being used?

 * Why are you using an old copy of WordPress? Were you aware that your site is
currently running a very real risk of being hacked. You need to upgrade WordPress
   asap.

 * Would upgrading from 3.5.1 to 3.5.2 make that much of a difference?
 * Will upgrading fix my issue automatically?
 * How is my site at risk of being hacked?

 * > Would upgrading from 3.5.1 to 3.5.2 make that much of a difference?
 * Yes. Apart from the hacking issue, a bug with iframes was corrected in 3.5.2
as far as I am aware.

 * I put my trust in in the company’s security firewalls to worry about that….

 * That’s not sufficient. Ask any of the major hosting companies such as Dreamhost
or Bluehost. You should **always** keep WordPress up to date.

 * Your solution did not work. The code is still disappearing for my client.
    The
site is hosted internally, and is for internal eyes only.
 * The security of the site is not what I am concerned about. I am concerned about
   the code disappearing.

 * As far as I can see, the previous iframe bug was fixed a while ago.

 * The bug may have been fixed, but my client is still experiencing issues.
    Are
there any other suggestions you can give?

 * Sorry but no. There are no issues with iframes that I am aware of.

 * Unfortunately, my client is not going to accept that for an answer, so I guess
I am forced to look elsewhere for solutions.

 * Not even “could not replicate” as an answer?
 * Have you tried deactivating all plugins to explore whether any could be responsible?
