iFrame Default Size not Overriding

  • HI, I am trying to specify an iFrame size that’s different from the default iFrame size that I entered in the media section. I’m using the on-page shortcode with the metadata like class=”fancybox-iframe {width:200,height:300}” but the iFrame keeps defaulting back to the larger size. Any idea how to resolve? I’m using the latest plugin and WP versions. Thanks!

I’m sorry, I do not know what shortcode you are referring to…

sorry, not shortcode – I meant tag.

Mine says: <a class=”fancybox-iframe {width:200,height:200}” and then the url, but the iFrame keeps showing at the default size, even with the new size specified. How can I resolve?

    Thanks!

Do you have a link to a live example of the issue?

Sure, click the images in the timeline at the top of this page: http://aaronfeldmanphotography.com/about/

The iframe class is set to 200 width and 200 height but the actual iframe is displaying using the defaults specified in the media section (width:100%, height 780px).

I don’t believe I have any other CSS in place that would cause conflict, but I can’t figure out what the issue could be.

Hi Saxon, it seems the metadata.js script file is not included. If you have the latest dev version installed you should see the option “Include the Metadata jQuery extension script to allow passing custom parameters via link class” under the FancyBox settings. Please make sure you check this option 🙂
