If statement and mail() function

    Is there a way to get dynamic plugins like a contact form with “mail() function” or php code like “if statement” for mobile visitors in the static site or are there alternatives for these?

    Hey @inkypaper,

    thanks for your message.

    This is pretty much the problem of static sites.

    For any kind of dynamic solution, you have to use external services due to the fact, that there is no server to handle dynamic requests.

    The pro version of Simply Static (which is not available yet) will tackle some of these things (like search and forms).

    Anyway, a little google search should help you with all of that (Algolia Search, StaticForms..)

    I solved search problem with a plugin that caches the search. and used formspree for a contact form.
