I updated to 3.4 and I have a problem with published posts. Once a post has been published and I go back to make any change—content, date or status—it does not work.

If I press update a first time, the typography on the html editor defaults to helvetica (only on the editor side, but no change happens to the content). If I press again the update button, the content erases itself from the post section, but no update happens.

The empty post logs as version of the post but it does not reach published status.

    Anyone has experienced this issue?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

Thank you esmi. The problem is plugin related. Can’t believe I did not test it before.
