Hi Andreas, To be sure I understand the issue you are describing, you are saying that you had a Link Library shortcode with the settings parameter set to a library configuration that was not defined on your system and this displayed output that messed up your layout since it was missing a div tag. Does that sound right?
I tried reproducing this on my test site by just putting [link-library settings=”25″] on a page and this did not cause any layout issues on my site, but this might also be dependent on the theme that is currently active.
If so, I agree that this is a bit awkward. I make the plugin go back to a valid configuration is one is specified but does not exist.
Hi Yannick,
yes, the library used in the shortcode was not configured, and also the plugin configuration was not rellay set at this moment. I just had installed the “new” wp instance and the plugin and then I have imported the content, with an “old” shortcode in it.
The “corrupted” dom tree was fixed the moment I set up plugin and gallery.
I am using Gambit from ThemeZee.
Thanks for your reply.
Andreas
Thanks for the details. I will add some extra validation in Link Library to display a message when you are using an invalid Link Library.
One extra question, I assume you are up-to-date in terms of installed version of Link Library?
