[resolved] IE/CSS Confusion, jumbled positioning, images (3 posts)

I am in almost despair. New to CSS but have done methodical online courses (WestCIV), so I have fair grasp (far from expert). I have validated both my XHTML file and CSS and gone through my code numerous times and just don't get it.
The problem: my page looks as it should in Safari, Opera, Firefox, but when I take it to IE 5.2 (Mac) and IE on a Windows machine there's a large green border below the header (#container - main content - appears to drop about 70px) and my #right-column (pink area) goes to the top of the window.

    The CSS: http://members.cox.net/pychap/BernardoDerm/bernDermStyles.css
Is this a need for a box model hack? I tried it but not sure if I did that right, no results.
We are creating about 25 pages based on this and I am losing sleep. Please help! Even if you can supply a link or look at my CSS.
    Thank you !!!!!!

Is is because I have absolute positioned elements inside of relative?
