 * Hi, thanks for resolving my previous issue (which was down to my own CSS overides).
 * I have another little issue, which is to do with IE8 compatibility.
 * I have made the site work in IE8 using html5shiv.js and respond.min.js – however
   the carousel now looks a little squashed – as if the image size hasn’t responded.
 * Is there a work around for this?

 * There’s a section about internet explorer 8 compatibility on the [bootstrap documentation](http://getbootstrap.com/getting-started/#support-ie8-ie9),
   have you done all of the things listed there?
 * Specifically, I’ve had weird problems in ie8 due to compatibility mode before.
   This is likely to be a trickier problem than your CSS override problem though
   😉 Do you have a link demonstrating the behaviour again?

 * Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
 * The IE8 issue with height seems to be due to a slight discrepancy in my image
   heights – which is now fixed.
 * My next issue is getting my css to work differently in IE8…
