Just got a call from a client who told me his media uploader didn’t work. The client is using Internet Explorer 10 and it turned out he accidentally hit the “Compatibility Mode” button. This caused a blank media upload screen when he wanted to select a Featured Image. Unsetting the “Compatibility Mode” solved this issue at once, but I think this is a bug?

So he’s using Internet Explorer’s IE6 compatibility mode or something?

He accidentally hit this button. The client also saw the “Unsafe browser” warning in his dashboard. This means it could be IE9 or lower. I don’t think it set the browser all the way back to IE6?

It disables ‘image library’ in ‘add media’ to a post. I accidentally hit this button instead of refresh.
