IE trashing a couple pages in a site

  • What is happening, it seems is that my styles are not being accessed, so the background falls apart. I’m running an Elegant Themes Chameleon theme with a child… It’s the same set-up as a sister site http://www.scotchmistsailingcharters.com
IE doesn’t trash Scotch Mist, but does tear up Aerial… So I’m baffled on what might be cuasing it, although I did initially install the WP Likes, but decided against it. Unfortunately, It doesn’t seem to uninstall, near as easy as it installed. Is this my issue, if so how do I kill the WP Likes? I want to do it anyway…

    Thanks again,

    Lance

If the WP Likes is a plugin, you can delete it via FTP. If it’s part of your theme, you’ll need to ask Elegant Themes, as commercial themes are not supported here.

As to the CSS issues, IE can be picky, so one place to start is by validating your HTML and CSS – see:

Not everything that comes up as an error is a problem – but if you have missing, open, unclosed, stray tags or something similar, that might be causing layout issues.

No, WP Likes was a widget or plug-in type install, not part of the theme.
