IE incorrectly displays text, especially BOLD

  • Here is the site:
    http://www.hipurductions.com

    the issue is, as you’ll clearly see, in chrome/firefox, text looks great. In IE it looks bad, especially BOLD text. This only happens in the white (pagewrap) div. This is not an issue in the sidebar (sidebar displays on the news page). It seems to change the font and add a “stroke” to bold text, as if its a PNG. Oh, and PNGs look bad there too. PNGs (with transparency that is) only look bad, again, in the (pagewrap) white portion of the blog. I hope yall can help. This is the “Aero” theme heavily customized.

    @8bitaddict

    I’m having the exact same problem. Here’s the site I’m working on: http://challenge11.southedge.org. Anyone out there have any insight into this? Thanks.

    You’re embedding fonts looks like….. IE really seems to have issues with that sometimes. The same font can look great at 9px, but like a turd at 10px, etc

    Dunno if there is really a way to fix that in IE
