IE has anomolies that Firefox doesn’t have

  • I run Firefox and the site looks great. Client uses IE and it looks strange. Here’s the site: http://www.underdogsinc.com.

    1. In Firefox, there is a Home & Site Map link. Does not appear in IE.
    2. In Firefox, it is a 2-column layout. In IE, it wants to add a column (or frame?) in the middle.

I ran it through the wc3 Validator and it is 100% valid. Ideas?
    Thanks…
    Patty

  • I’m running IE 6.0.2 and the Home & SiteMap are at the very top, but they are being obscured by a black header. If this is your intent, a lazy workaround would be to just change the font color to white. 🙂 Else, eliminate that black header.

seen a lot of these posts today…

its broken google adsense ads adding the iframe.

That would explain why this just went from black to white…

It must be great being able to land web development jobs without even being able to execute a two column layout in the major browsers.

Your HTML may be valid, but your stylesheet isn’t. There’s some random HTML and PHP in there. Might be your problem.
