IE Formatting Problems

    Hello,

I’m having some big formatting problems with IE 6.0 and my wordpress blog. Pages and blog posts don’t seem to be formatting properly and are instead appearing kind of screwed up down towards the bottom of the page. Take a look at the following pages and see if you can tell me what’s going on here:

Look down towards the bottom. I’m running wordpress 2.05 with a modified version of the fortune basic theme. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Typical IE “too wide for area” problem. Try a search for “sidebar dropping” – in your case it’s the content section, but the fixes still apply…. something in one of your areas is too wide for its container.

Where should I set the width for the content section? I’ve tried expanding the page container and that didn’t seem to do anything, so I’m guessing that somewhere there’s a parameter for page content that needs to be set.

Tracked it down and squashed it. Thanks for the help.

Well, I spoke too soon. I squashed the problem for IE, but then it just reversed itself and is showing up in firefox and Opera.
