• My site kyl.fi has stopped showing anything else than the Front Page when browsing with IE (tested with IE9 and IE11). When trying to access any other page, I got error “Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage“. Strangely, the site is still working fine with other browsers such as Chrome and Firefox.

The site was working earlier without any problems with IE as well and I haven’t made any changes to anything since, except that WordPress was updated from 3.9 to 3.9.1. So, I’m now wondering whether the problem could be related to the new WordPress version because I can’t think any other reason.

What I have tried already (without success):
    – Refreshing browser
    – Re-installing WordPress 3.9.1
    – Disabling plugins
    – Testing with other theme (Twentyfourteen)
    – Updating permalinks
    – Checking .htaccess file
    – Trying to access resources in theme’s directory with direct URL – working fine

    Some additional testing:
    – I changed IE’s user-agent to Chrome, but the problem still occurs.
    – I can access WP admin panel with IE without any problems.
    – I tried to access the pages with non-rewritten URLs (e.g. http://kyl.fi/?p=1891), but still received the same error message.

I don’t have any idea what’s going on here.

I see the problem too in IE11.

Weird problem. I’m thinking redirect problem.

    I’m seeing some problems.

If you run console > network you’ll see that something is causing a repeating error:
    GET https://pnvjfroyvl.spotilocal.com:4376/service/version.json?service=remote&ref=http%3A%2F%2Fkyl.fi%2F&cors= net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

Also, you get an error 301 on the pages (not home)
    Request URL:http://kyl.fi/konsertit/
    Request Method:GET
    Status Code:301 Moved Permanently

    I’m not sure that’s normal.

Had some other issues. In Firefox, I chose ‘view page source’ and it gave me an error 500. But I was unable to recreate this.
