IE Display Issues

Hello –

I am building this site for a client – using a purchased theme and customizing it to her design. Everything displays great in every browser – but IE 7 and 8 of course. (I’m not going anywhere near trying to fix it for 6). Does anyone have any advice how I can resolve these display issues? I don’t even know where to start!! The extra space at the bottom and the general mess of the portfolio section are my main concerns. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! 🙂
