• I would think that someone would fix the issues between WordPress 2.7 and IE 8, Nothing seems to space correctly and the edit screen in the admin appearence page is shoved all the way to the bottom of the page.

Well IE 8 has been on its way for awhile now, so this issue should have been fixed! The only thing that works good is FireFox. Microsoft really tees me off, they cant seem to get anything right, from Vista to IE 8 and now who knows what Windows 7 will be like!

I wish people would update there software after it is correctly written, not before, then send it out and hope somebody finds a fix for them.

  • 1) Not an WordPress issue. Run IE8 in compatibility mode if it doesn’t display correctly and see if that fixes it. Oh, wait… why would a completely standards compliant browser that is state of the art and cutting edge require a compatibility mode? hmmm….. seems a bit redundant, doesn’t it?

    2) Vista is just one more OS. Every flavor of Vista I am forced to use has been rock solid. (Remember XP prior to SP1? What a P.O.S. that was!)

    3) Windows 7 kicks some serious ass (in my opinion, and I have literally beaten the snot out of it, trying to break it)… So far. Let’s see what the production release acts like.

I too, wish to be psychic, Jake. I too… (sigh)

Hang in there buddy! We still have Firefox!

    🙂

I always advice my blog readers to get Firefox… 😉 IE8 is just a bit better than IE7 but it’s still aload of rubbish. Oh and I heard that Windows 7 isn’t much of a power hog compared to Vista. It requires a quarter of the power that Vista required.

Sounds good but is it true? Hmmm…
