IE 7 8 issues with site… div not coming through

Hi there,

So, in internet explorer 7+8, if you go to the site below, the white box on the posts does not come up. (If you go to firefox or any other legit browsers, you’ll see what I mean)

Can someone take a look and perhaps let me know what I can do to get that white background to show up?

On a related note, does anyone know a way that I can get the white background NOT to be transparent and inherit the opacity that the background behind it has?
