IDs of quotes and invoices: reset or set manually?

    hi,
    is there a way to reset the counter for quotes IDs and invoice IDs? and can i set the starting quote ID number/invoice ID number myself?

    Hi there!

    You may set this for Invoices in the CRM > Settings Invoicing > Invoicing > Reference type section.

    As for the quotes, unfortunately, this isn’t simple. Invoice IDs have their own database field whereas the quote IDs are linked to the database row IDs, so you will need to edit the database to reset it. You may try to do that, however, we can’t provide support or assistance with this kind of customization.
