Hi Lurie,
Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.
Would you be so kind as to share the following with us:
Thanks for this. There are over 9000 products in the feed, can you give me some product ID’s that Facebook considers to be duplicates?
Hi,
Thanks for this. I now indeed can find some duplicates although not all of the examples above are in your feed multiple times.
Duplicates mostly happen when the plugin is running into server limitations. It either hits the maximum allowed CPU usage or the maximum execution time (you should be able to verify this by checking your WooCommerce fatal error logs of the last couple of days). The plugin then gets stuck processing a batch and tries again which might lead to duplicate products. There are a few possible ways out of this, the easiest and best one is to increase the maximum allowed CPU usage and/or maximum execution time. When that is not an option you can also try lowering the batch size of the plugin so it uses less server resources. This is how you can do so: https://adtribes.io/batch-size-configuration-product-feed/
Hope this helps?
Thank you for the reply and the suggestions.
But how do I increase the maximum allowed CPU usage?
Currently, put the batch size to 250, is it ok?
Hi,
This blog post should probably help you:
https://wpsites.net/wordpress-admin/wordpress-memory-how-to-increase-php-allowed-memory-limits/
Did you try the 250 batch size and did it solve the issue at hand?
The batch solution did not solve anything. It ruined the feed.
Can you be a bit more specific with “it ruined the feed”, what happened? Also, did you manage to increase the maximum allowed memory usage?
Facebook could take only 66 items (957 variables) when i put the batch size to 250.
also the maximum allowed memory is 500MB…should i make it bigger?
I think the maximum allowed memory should be sufficient, however it really depends on what other heavy plugins you might be running.
Can you share with us the plugin debug.log URL so we can check how you configured your feed? Instructions on how to retrieve it can be found here: https://adtribes.io/send-your-debug-log-to-support/
Assuming the issue at hand has been resolved or our support is no longer required I am going to close this topic for housekeeping reasons now. Please do not hesitate to reach out to our support-team again whenever you need our help.
