IDN support

  • Hi,
    my yourls installation is on a non ascii domain. I could get yourls itself to give me short urls with the real domain, but the in wordpress I get te puny code (xn--…) domain. These puny codes aren’t really short. In fact, the puny code is longer than my original domain.

    Is there a way to easily get IDN support into your plugin?

    @norcross

    what is the domain name in specific?

    The domain name is ßör.de, but meanwhile I fond a wordpress plugin that will create shortcodes for articles by itself. Seems to work, so I won’t bother too much with yourl, though it would have been nice to have a full shorturl service for myself… Never mind.
