 * These guys [here](http://p2mag.com/kfg/) have (one) stolen my old index file
including my 3d design (two) are adapting it for commercial use and (three) are
still calling the posts and comments _from my ****** blog server_. They might
make more sales if they worked out how to install WordPress. Have a nice day
   fellas.
Edit: Error. The posts / comments are not being called. They have just
lifted my index including the post content _at that time _. Sorry.

 * I trust you are blocking their IP ?
    And informing their host ?

 * Well I have only just noticed and I do not not really know what to do. Oddly
if you click the comments it takes you to my own blog (traffic of sorts). They
are not linking to any images. But they are calling from my mysql. Is it safe?
How can I block an IP ? And how do I know who is the host?

 * should start off with a nice “I have all your information you little…” type post
just to see if it scares them off.

 * They are stealing bandwidth.
That MUST be against the hosts AUP.

   was discovered ??

 * Well the posts are not really being linked live at all. They have just lifted
the index. The comments link back to my own blog they are not being called. This
is wierd. They are not connected to mysql really. They have just nicked my index
file. But it is not much use to them. But they have gone to some trouble with
a new head graphic and moving to a lh menu. I am not sure that any good or harm
is actually occuring. But I am checking closely. Thanks.

 * I just posted a comment from their blog ….. Post title ‘404 push’
    If it lands
with you, which it does…….. then to me that’s BW theft. Good luck 🙂

 * Well it hit me.But the comment was actually put in by you on my blog. BUT they
have got WP installed. Try and login.

 * Hmm…….. couldn’t….
Still think Cedant could do a whole lot more though.

 * Yikes. It might well be a very stupid way to get a cool template and design for
a budding site. But this doesn’t make it any less identity theft. The bandwidth
issue is one thing — I’m not quite sure, they might just as well be doing no
more than linking to you. But what’s without any doubt a huge no-no is the fact
that they are a) redistributing your copyrighted material without your permission
and b) committing plagiarism by pretending to be the authors of the material.
What do Cedant say to _that_? They need to tell off the owners and be prepared
to pull the plug after due warning; from their Acceptable Use Policy, which is
   [here](http://www.cedant.com/company/policies.html):
 * >  Unacceptable Content
   > All services provided by Cedant Web Hosting may be used
   > for lawful purposes only. Transmission, storage, or presentation of any information,
   > data or material in violation of any United States Federal, State or City law
   > is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted material,
   > material we judge to be threatening or obscene, or material protected by trade
   > secret and other statute.
 * If you don’t have any progress to report soon, I’m going to write a polite email
to `abuse@cedant.com` myself. If several of us do this (no invective, please!),
   they might just wake up.

 * Thank you all for your interest, useful info and support. I am preparing carefully
my email to cedant, with the appropriate care, courtesy, and a concise statement
of the facts. This may be a case where a few minutes, pause for rational and
considered thinking is best but my missive to cedant will be going shortly. I
have already emailed the admin contact and editor for P2 asking for their proposals.

No reply yet. Full details will be on my blog.

 * Ah. The plot thickens. In breach of the requirements for domain registration
the admin contact for p2 one Mr Jim Kerr provided by anon above _does not exist_.
We are on good ground now.

 * It might be [this Jim Kerr](http://www.arcmag.com/contact.htm). Alternative Radio
Content seems pretty defunct now. Maybe he’s looking for an alternative venture.

Oh, and don’t forget, they’re still asleep over in California. Not only Mr Kerr,
but also anyone with the authority to tap him on this greedy fingers.
