Really need something similar to Ideation and Intent

Moving from wordpress.com to .org - See now Ideation and Intent is not available -- big problem for us.

Does anyone know of a .org templet that is similar to Ideation and Intent.

On an aside - saw in a post - from a .org person that Ideation and Intent was coming to wordpress.org soon - does anyone know when. Also emailed automatic today to ask them when that theme can come onto wordpress.org

Any answers or suggestions are appreciated.

    Site will be bayleaf.us

    Thanks

You can use an SVN client to download the ideation-and-intent theme from wordpress.com to your desktop.

    wpcom-themes.svn.automattic.com/ideation-and-intent/

    Thanks Clayton. Tech dummy here.

Do you know if my host can do the same with the SVN download...

Boy - some of us just don't get the inner workings of code - etc. I am a designer type (am an artist - sculpture and painting) - so I'm dismayed I'm not able to understand and do a lot of this myself. I choose wordpress for ease. But the .org is not as easy as the .com. None the less - we need .org now.

Thanks again - hope you know the answer to this latest question .

Anyone with an SVN client on their computer can download the theme. Your host however, shouldn't be offering or providing their customers with themes from the wordpress.com SVN repository, if that's what you're asking.

The quickest solution, if you want this theme:

Install an SVN client on your local machine (or consult a friend who is familiar and can assist you) download the theme directly to your desktop using the url I posted - wpcom-themes.svn.automattic.com/ideation-and-intent/ - then you can make and keep a backup copy, and use your ftp client to upload it to the theme directory on your site for use.
