Ideal sizes for images?

    Hi there,

    Since the theme is retina-ready, how would be the ideal size for post images? Especially the width. I use a Retina Mac, but huge images are still resized to a width of 768 to 788 pixels. Any idea to fix this?

    Btw, thanks for the good work with the theme!

    Hi mirkoschubert,

    The design of the theme is retina-ready (icons and such), but the images added to the theme aren’t scaled to 2X due the extra load that would put on hosting and bandwidth. 788 pixels is the width of images set as featured images, so that is the ideal size.

    You could change it to use 2X images through a child theme, but it’d take some doing.
