# Ideal plugin for setting minimums

 * Hi there,
 * I am setting up a wholesale website where I need to set a minimum spending amount
   before the customer can go through checkout.
 * I have several different product types set under different categories. Each category
   has a different minimum spending amount e.g. stationery = £120 min, jewellery
   = £130 min, mugs = £90 etc. I need customers to be able to pick and choose what
   products per category they choose to meet the min. spend.
 * Could anyone please recommend a plugin that will enable me to set these minimums–
   and importantly, will allow the customer to pick and choose any amount of product
   within a category to meet the minimum spend – e.g. if buying jewellery, they 
   could pick 5x of product 1, 3x of product 2, 10x of product 3, 2x of product 
   4 etc to reach £130.
 * The previous plug in I installed allowed me to set a minimum per category but
   it fixed that minimum to every single product within it, so you’d have to add
   £130 worth of a single design rather than allowing one to pick and choose a variety
   of designs to meet the min. spend.

 * Yes, the [Min/Max Quantities](https://woocommerce.com/products/minmax-quantities/)
   extension in our marketplace does have the provision to allow the customer to
   pick and choose products within a category to meet the minimum spend threshold.
