Idea hides every time someone votes

    Hi there,

    The idea posted seems to hide when someone votes on it and therefore the admin needs to keep updating the status on that suggestion. Is there a way to keep the idea always showing as open unless is has been changed manually later on?

    I just don’t want the ideas disappearing and then having to manually bring them back for each vote.

    When ideas reach the vote threshold score they will change status automatically. So if you don’t want an idea to change statuses then set your vote threshold score to a really high number so it is never achieved. Also ideas never disappear, they just change status.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the insight on this! If I set it to 0 would that also help?

    Right now I had it set to 1000000 but the text shows “Get your idea to 1000000 to be reviewed. Do you know how I can remove this text?

    No set it up to high number like I said. And hiding that text is a board setting “Show Vote Target”.

    I recommend reading the FAQ on the support tab and also below the board settings there’s information on what all the settings mean. This is normally very helpful for new users. Thanks and I hope you enjoy the plugin 🙂

    As for the comments section. I have my comments turned on within my WordPress settings, but on my ideapush page that I shared above, when you click on the comment bubble, it takes you to the comment page for that idea, but then says you need to be logged in to comment. Do you know how I can enable commenting in any other form? Thanks 🙂

    Hi, you will need to consult general WordPress forums for this as this is not part of the plugin functionality and is WordPress functionality.

    Please see the tab in the plugin settings called “Idea Form”. I recommend looking at all the tabs to learn all that is possible with the plugin. Thanks,
