    In this context, I experimented with several plugins,
    but they only work with normal postings and sites, I guess.

    Yes, that is true. Embedded content works currently only with youtube. But this feature will be extended in the future. Several other link types will be embedded soon. Youtube is just the blueprint. But Disadvantage is, that embedding needs much performance.

    Feature is build. Mathilda Version 0.7 will be release during calendar week 12 @ 2017. Embedding supports Tweets, WordPress, Spotify, SoundCloud, Vimeo and further sources.
