[Resolved] Id and Class for footer area

  • There is the code in tventyevleven

    register_sidebar( array(
    		'name' => __( 'Footer Area One', 'twentyeleven' ),
    		'id' => 'sidebar-3',
    		'description' => __( 'An optional widget area for your site footer', 'twentyeleven' ),
    		'before_widget' => '<aside id="%1$s" class="widget %2$s">',
    		'after_widget' => "</aside>",
    		'before_title' => '<h3 class="widget-title">',
    		'after_title' => '</h3>',
    	) );

    How do I figure it out the output of this -> ‘before_widget’ => ‘<aside id=”%1$s” class=”widget %2$s”>’,

    I want to assign a specific id and class to change the font in css.

    look into the html code of your site in the browser, or use a tool such as Firebug http://getfirebug.com/ to identify the corresponding css selectors.

    the output will depend on what widget is used in that footer area.
