 * I like a lot of the functionality of this plugin and would love to use it but
I’d really need to have the ability to import ics files. The closest things that
I’ve found are the ESS Import/Export plugin and the csv import plugins, but that’s
not really what I need. I do have the ability to convert ics files to csv but
I’ve found that the csv import plugins have difficulty parsing event descriptions
that include HTML. Is there any chance of an ics import feature coming up anytime
   soon?

 * it’s not possible out the box at the moment. it may be possible with custom coding
but unfortunately that’s not something we can help with.

 * Thank you for your response. A few years back you guys had said that it was on
the horizon: I guess that’s just not the case anymore? The other major events
plugins all handle this but Events Manager seems to be the only one that makes
migration from another system difficult by not having any real import options.
Like I said, I favor this plugin but I cannot spend weeks on implementation and
I suspect that I’m far from the only one given the number of requests for import
   options in the support forum.

 * There’s an import / export feature in development but it’s very much at an alpha
stage at the moment. Given that, we can’t give any kind of ETA but I think it’s
likely to be a while before it’s publicly available.

 * Thanks! I hope that I’ll be able to migrate over once that’s done.
