Well I have been using WordPress on my website MyInsideGamer (http://myinsidegamer.com) and nothing’s been going wrong. Today, however, I went to add a new post and the icons above the text editor when in Visual mode are gone.

I don’t see any options to expand them and nothing seems to work and there’s no options to expand them. Also, the Visual tab stays the same Grey colour as the HTML tab instead of going white.

    Here’s a screenshot:

    Any help is much appreciated!

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?
