    Hi,

    I use FAQ in conjunction with the Zerif Pro theme. But I needed to change the font an the page, so I use the Simple custom CSS plugin to do that. The problem ist, that the + / – icons on my FAQ page are now letters. I know that the icons are a custom font, but I don’t know which or how to apply it to the FAQ page.

    Is there any way to solve this?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi snuratic,

    Would you be able to provide us with a link to your FAQ page, so we can have a look to see if the font is loading at all, or if maybe there’s a conflict somewhere?

    Thank you

    I’m sorry, the page is not open for public yet, so it is PW-protected and I cannot post the login here.

    This is how it looks like:

    Hi snuratic,

    Can you try using this CSS in Settings -> Basic -> “Custom CSS” box:

    .ewd-ufaq-post-margin-symbol, .ewd-ufaq-toggle-all-symbol {
        font-family: 'ewd-toggle-icon'!important;}

    Hi there,

    sorry, that didn’t change anything 🙁

    Hi snuratic,

    Unfortunately, it’s pretty much impossible to tell from the screenshot what’s happening. We’d really need to be able to look at the site and inspect the source code to see if anything looks awry with the font loading. If you’re able to, you can send us the link to your site by email at contact@etoilewebdesign.com. If you do, please make sure you reference this thread, so we know what the email’s about.

    Thank you

    Hi again,

    This was resolved via email, but we’ll also add the answer here so it can help others experiencing this issue:

    The theme, for some reason, seemed to be setting a specific font for spans. This was overwritten with the following custom CSS:

    .ewd-ufaq-post-margin-symbol span {
    font-family: 'ewd-toggle-icon' !important;
    }
