    Hi there – I’m having an issue with the icon not being selectable.

    The dropdown loads all of the icons fine, I can see them in the selector. However, when I click to select them, nothing happens. I can only ‘choose’ the default option.

    There is a console error: ‘Cannot read property ‘id’ of undefined’ which is coming from acf-input.min.js.

    I’m using v. 2.1.2 – although I have the same issue with the beta 3.0.x versions.
    Wordpress 4.9.8

    Hey David,

    I’ve been playing around in my local environment trying to reproduce the error you are seeing. I thought maybe if I forced ACF to load select2 v3 (which it does in some environments) it would show your error, but that still worked.

    I wonder if you are able to do some additional debugging in your environment to see if there are any conflicting plugins or theme code that when disabled resolve this issue. That could give me a clue as to what is going on. Or if this is in an environment that you are able to give me temporary admin access to, I’d be willing to take a look directly.     Hi,

    I’d like to add that we have also been experiencing this issue, however we have found that this problem only seems to be affecting us within Chrome, it works in Firefox and Edge.

    Hey guys … I’m sorry to be so late here, Matt – I wasn’t notified of your reply, so I apologise.

    I found the problem in the end. I was using a version of the plugin Search WP which had an older version of the select 2 plugin and it seemed to be loading incorrectly. When I updated SearchWP the problem went away again.

    Thanks for the feedback TickTock, glad you were able to get it sorted out.

    @rwswebsolutions, I would recommend the same debugging to you that I recommended to TickTock to see if there is a conflicting plugin or theme code causing this issue. If you still are having issues feel free to create a new thread here and I will do my best to assist you.
