  • Hello,

You need to edit the theme file for it. Install and activate the oceanwp child theme. Copy the logo.php file (oceanwp > partials > header > logo.php) into the child theme by following the same path.
Open it using a code editor and add your icon instead of the logo.
You can also use SVG logo if you like – https://docs.oceanwp.org/article/357-how-to-add-an-svg-logo

cool, i want to try it with the svg-logo. The logo should actually be wider. Two letters are now on top of each other. Any help? kind regards, c

Can you share your site link so that I can check it?

hey amit, sure here it is : website

on desktop(chrome, edge) it looks good. mobil and firefox doesnt look good.

I checked your site but didn’t understand it. Can you please share a screenshot of the issue?

hello amit, how can i upload my screenshot? if you look at a mobilephone us will see that the svg looks wrong. There are two letters on top of each other. The A and the Z. It looks like the svg had nt enough space?

it is now a new svg logo, but it also cropped on mobile and firefox.

You can use tool like Imgur or Dropbox to share a screenshot.

Can you try to upload a mobile logo and retina logo from the Customize > Header > Logo and CUstomize > header > mobile menu section? At the time of uploading the logo select Skip cropping option. Clear cache and check it works or not.

i have changed the names to retina and mobile. so now i have three versions of the svg.
    retina is now good.
    but mobile is not good.
at the time of uploading, wordpress doesnt ask for cropping.

at the second look in the customizer retina and mobile sections are empty.

the problem is on mobile and firefox(desktop)

That’s odd. Try to disable/enable plugin one by one. There should be an option for logo cropping at the time uploading logo. Have you uploaded the mobile logo?

they are displayed correctly in the medialibray.

Can you try to re-upload a new logo for the mobile view from the Customize > header > mobile menu section? Rename the logo also and clear cache to view it.
