Since the update to 3.2.8, all the display settings have been mangled and icons are displayed very strangely. The example site has changed the display size to 62px and engaged the ‘original colours’ setting which was not in use.

We use the plugin on over 100 sites. Another example – https://aliceoseman.com/. On affected sites, the background colour changes to grey and there are sizing / spacing issues. Anyone else seeing this?

  • Same, it’s a very unfortunate problem, left alignment also stopped working

I had a quick look. They are probably wanting to commercialise this plugin so they made a lot of changes. The ‘Icon Height’ section is commented out, moved into ‘Width,’ which is probably the reason.

I don’t know how they expect anyone to pay for this plugin, but good luck to them…

As you say, a premium option has appeared but unless the free version is reliable and well maintained, it doesn’t bode well for the premium version

I have had to manually fix the example site with CSS hacks in the Customizer for now, as the client didn’t want to wait for a developer-led resolution

I have contacted the plugin author and no response. Will just be finding/building a new solution.

Thanks so much for the detailed feedback — and we completely understand how frustrating this must have been, especially across so many sites.

Version 3.2.8 did introduce some unintended display issues, including icon sizing, spacing, and color settings. We’ve taken this very seriously and are happy to let you know that all of these problems have been fully resolved in the latest version 3.2.9.

Everything should now work as expected, with your original display settings preserved. We’d really appreciate it if you could update and let us know how it goes. Your input helps us catch and fix these things quickly — so thank you again for your patience and support!
