First of all, thank you for building this awesome plugin that helps saves paper and trees!

I'm a volunteer (amateur - not professional web builder) and building a website for the local school's PTA . The PrintFriendly button works on all of the pages except the calendar. That happens to be the one page that the PTA president wants a printable view.

    I am using:
    Wordpress 3.5.2
    them Suffusion theme version 4.4.6
    The Events Calendar plugin 2.0.11

I would really appreciate any guidance on this matter. Also, please keep in mind that I'm a volunteer with very little coding background.

Thank you in advance for your help!

It seems to print the content, just not displayed very well.

If you're able to edit the html, try using the Print Friendly and PDF custom commands.

Thank you for the response but I'm afraid I don't understand the solution to my question.

I still don't see the Print Friendly icon on the calendar page although it appears on all of the other pages. What can I do to make the Print Friendly icon appear? I don't know if the Print Friendly button will even work on this page because it isn't there.

Thank you again for your help!

I misunderstood the issue, sorry about that.

For placement options, have you selected "Pages"?

    I have the following selected:

Under Settings > Print Friendly & PDF Settings > Display button on:

Like I said, the Print Friendly icon appears on every page EXCEPT the calendar page.

I'm not sure what I'm missing but unfortunately, I'm not advanced enough to understand how to edit the HTML as you directed in the previous link.

On the calendar plug in I'm using (The Events Calendar plugin 2.0.11), there is a window that I can add some custom HTML. I tried adding this code as directed on the Print Friendly instructions

    <?php if(function_exists('pf_show_link')){echo pf_show_link();} ?>

    but nothing happened.

    Thank you again!

Thank you for your advice about the button! I was able to create it and embed it into my post HTML settings in the plugin.

The next problem that I'm having is when it creates the Print Friendly PDF, it creates lots of duplicate events. It's not giving a true preview of what you see on the screen.

Again, I apologize for the lack of specific coding knowledge but how can I correct this please? The button seems to create all of the other pages as shown but the calendar.

Please view the sample page below. Once you click on the Print Friendly preview, you will see all of the duplicate events and extraneous date / time events too.

Thank you again for all your help!

To control what is printed/pdf, use Print Friendly custom commands.

Specifically, add class="print-only" to the calendar <table> tag.
