    Hi,

I am using an iCloud import which previously worked without any issues but now seems to have stopped importing current and future events.

    webcal://p06-calendarws.icloud.com/ca/subscribe/1/b2zibXUfSIS3N8qHGsqp15tJI3EA7OT75Na5F5dmnvcLsDo4OlWBREXZA9RGBS8DhcWrFkIpQw9Y_D_iOfSj2VPY7_7cu0BOmHUdZ1OEByw

The Import shows “Imported 895 events” but none are the future events.. I’m not even sure what 895 events they are, ( as some are recurring forever weekly).

This import seemed to work until recently.

    Hi Greg,

It is necessary to sign into Timely Network(in the plugin settings) and wait a few minutes (sometimes hours).

    Thanks,
    Ben

I’ve already logged into Timely as noted.

It’s been 3 days now and no import…

Thanks for the reply Benjamin … but it’s still not working…

The calendar is half the functionality of my site.

    Thanks for any help !

Please install “Advanced Cron Manager” plugin and check what processes are scheduled(Dashboard > Tools > Cron Manager). The task that updates the feeds in Ai1ec is called ai1ec_cron. Check what time Advanced Cron Manager says it will run it.

    Oh boy Benjamin…

I went to my calendar today to check after doing a manual ‘Refresh’ and seeing the following, (see image Image

AND finding my Calendar page completely void of CSS for the Views.

    Calendar – http://everythingpuntagorda.com/local-events-in-and-around-punta-gorda-florida/action~month/request_format~html/

I De- and Re- activated the plugins for AIO and the Extended Views…but no joy.

I didn’t even get to the ACM yet…but I was wondering if since the manual ‘Sync’ seems to go through… but NOT Update the events if the issue is not related to a trigger of the sync…

485 sync .. .but not the current events…

    Man…can you help?

    Greg – My calendar’s down…

Just a Note… I got the Theme straightened out.. Had to change themes …and initialize it back.

    I’m still at…

Should I do the ACM even if the ‘manual’ refresh shows 845 events sync… but no refresh on the current events?

    Thx Benjamin,

ai1ec_cron hourly At next page refresh

    ai1ec_events_regeneration
    ai1ec_events_notification
    ai1ec_u_cron

    in the list.

“At next page refresh” means that the cron does not work. If you’ve got your own host, or you use cPanel, you can set up a scheduled task that spawns the wp-cron task.

For cPanel, look at this guide from HostGator: https://support.hostgator.com/articles/specialized-help/technical/wordpress/how-to-replace-wordpress-cron-with-a-real-cron-job

If you’ve got your own shell access, have a look at: https://rtcamp.com/tutorials/wordpress/wp-cron-crontab/

    Hey Benjamin…

    WPengine support confirmed the following…

I’ve confirmed the crons are running, and the alternate cron I just turned on for you simulates traffic so it should be firing off very frequently..

she says she sees it scheduled and running… and I see Imported 895 events show… but nothing on the calendar…

Completely deleted the Import feed…and re-created… and it seems to be working…
