[Resolved] iCal Events Export dates shifted back one day

  • Hi,

I’m having a problem with the My Calendar plugin’s export events in iCal format feature. When I export the calendar and then add it in to Google Calendar, all my events date’s are shifted back one day.

For example, an event that displays on WordPress as having the date of July 18th will have date July 17th in the iCal download.

Any ideas of how to fix this?

    Thanks.

Yes, this is a known bug. The fix is fairly simple; 4 changes, in total.

in the file my-calendar-templates.php you need to change:

    date('h',$os) to date('H',$os) — this occurs twice, for $dtstart and $dtend.

Same file, same lines, change the ‘+$offset’ to ‘-$offset’.

This will all be fixed in the next release, but I’m not sure how soon that will actually be.

    Yep, that fixes it!
    Thank you for your help.

Thanks for that! Another question: Am moving a site. Is there a way to export all events in My Calendar and import into another My Calendar install?
