    Hi @itnico,

What is the date you are trying to enter? Have you tried appending a 0 before the date like so:

    02/26/0736

Let us know if that works on your end.

Unfortunately, the date does not return after saving on 02/26/2018

When you say it does not return, what does that mean exactly? Does the date return today’s date? Is it empty? Who is your hosting provider?

Yes, there is today’s date back

I can not explain that until 1904, but it works for example. In 1899 he resets the date to the current day

I have disabled all plugin, unfortunately it does not work anyway.

Is this a Linux hosting environment or Windows? I have heard some reports of a few users having issues on Windows hosting environments.

Sorry that you are experiencing issues. We have done some testing and are not experiencing any similar issues.

One thing I can suggest is reaching out to your hosting provider and inquiring as to why dates prior to then are not saving properly.

Another option is to give our historical dates add-on a try, which was created to work around any issues customers were facing in this respect.

Beyond that, you can reach out to support and we can see what might be going on, but unfortunately, without access to the server itself, it’s not something we can remotely debug.

I just purchased the historical dates add-on but am using the free version of the main plug-in. Still won’t save my historical dates. Resets to 2018 every time. Wonder if I have to purchase the full plug-in for add-ons to work?

    Hi @jemigirl,

What is the date format that you’ve got set there? We can do some testing to confirm and check what we end up with on our end.

Feel free to shoot us an email using the contact form on the Timeline Express site.
