• Hi,

I have this wordpress site, using a template: http://www.sanneschouwenburg.com.
As you can see there are some extractions of the post you can see, but there is no picture to be found and the posts are like summarized.

How can I let my template show the entire post, with the image, on my blog?
I have tried other solutions given, changing something in the index.php page, but I can’t seem to find the solution…

    Thank you in advance!

  • Seems you are using a theme that has it’s own support…

I would ask them first if there is a way to show ‘posts’ instead of ‘excerpts’ using the provided theme options.

    Report back afterwards, please.

Thank you for your suggestion, they have answered: “If you want to show full posts then just create a page give it a title. On the right hand side of the editor you will see the template dropdown. From the dropdown select Blog full content display. Now click save.

Then go to settings->Reading->Front page displays
Check the radio button for A static page (select below)
Now from the front page drop down select the page you have created above and click save.”

I hope this will help others too!

    Best,

    Sanne

I now realized that only the home page shows the entire posts. I would want the category pages also to show my entire posts. Any idea how to do that? They had no idea…

    Thank you in advance!

    * For example in “Books I Recommend” I can still not see the images of the book covers, which makes it hard for readers to recognize books they know or don’t know…
