I will pay for someone to fix my "collapsing categories"

I was using “Collapsing Categories” successfully. Now, clicking on the category does not expand the category. It only goes to the category page. I’m not sure when it broke. I have tried:

1) making sure that the plugin has been configured to expand
2) disabled all other plugins
3) tested to make sure JQuery is loaded
4) tried the “extra period” fix
5) tried a “clean” widget – created new categories and pages

I need a collapsing category type widget that is rock solid and works smoothly and will pay money for it. Either Rob Felty’s version fixed or a different version all together.

It could have broken when I updated to WordPress 3.8.1 (or not). I use Headway theme, which has been updated to the latest version.
