I want to see the stats for my site

Hello everyone,

I have a weblog which is hosted on my own domain.
Now I would like to see the stats for the site (visitors, where they come from, etc). I used WordPress.com stats but it seems you need to have an account with them.

So can anyone recommend something for me? Preferably something where I do not need an account with another site.
