But still i wonder, why can’t you set homepage in
jobboard => settings https://prnt.sc/100v0ze
Hi,
We’re glad you were able to fix things at your end.
The homepage is not set by Simple Job Board since it’s managed by WordPress. However, you can go to your Dashboard Settings > Readings > Your Homepage Display > Choose which page you would like to display as homepage.

Hi @jerrykza, thank you for the reply.
Dashboard Settings > Readings > Your Homepage Display > there is no page called jobs over there.
any idea why, please?
jobs page seems custom, not like other pages, there is no edit page option for example
Hello @isitegate,
Currently, the archive page can be accessed from slug but it is not available as WP page so you can’t select it as a frontend page. Alternatively, you can create a page with a shortcode [jobpost] and select it on your site front page.
For avoiding conflicts between the archive page and job shortcode page, you can change the slug of archive under Job Board> Settings> General tab.
Thank you for reaching out. Let us know if we can assist you further.
