• This is a really good plugin. However, it has one fatal flaw. It feels like an overt advertisement for the pro version.

I have nothing against a pro version. In fact the ACF integration has me considering purchasing it.

What I do have a problem with is crippling functionality in the free version. You have 8 pro elements (that I can tell) in the editor. When I select them and add them to the page, I am told that I have to purchase the pro version to edit the content of the element.

Wordpress.org plugins are supposed to be free of defects like this.

    Guideline #3:
‘Similarly, you cannot “cripple” functionality in the plugin and then ask for payment or provide a code to unlock the functionality’

The functionality of those elements are crippled and I am hit with an “upgrade now” button to unlock the functionality.

TL;DR: It is a great plugin and you don’t need to bait and switch. Advertise those features on your settings page but don’t embed them in the editor.

If you take my advice, I will happily edit my review and give you 5 stars because it really is a great plugin.

  • It seems like there isn’t much activity in these ratings other than some (apparently?) purchased ratings from months ago.

The features of this Plugin seem to work pretty well – though if you’re trying to use an Elementor Library template, then Hooks to throw that template into a post (in order to effectively make it a ‘post template’), it tries to pull the data from the Elementor Library Template “post” instead of the Post that you’re actually looking at.

But if you just throw it into every single post – you’re good to go.

Pretty decent plugin. Surprising that there aren’t more legitimate reviews like yours.

It is pretty awful to allow you to drag in elements that you can’t use.

I haven’t tried using library templates myself. I just started using Elementor about 3 months ago for a few different projects. You should leave a review as well. Thanks for the comment.
