I can confirm that multiple sites can connect using the same Google account. I understand this is not what you are looking for, but this way, each site will need to create a different Merchant Center account.

Please note, if there is a connection issue on one site, it can impact other sites. For example, if there’s an issue with the connection token (if it expires or revoked) all sites connected could be affected.

Kindly note that Google uses one Merchant Center account per site. They include Multi-client accounts, and you can apply to use this feature. At the moment, Google Listings & Ads doesn’t support multi-client Merchant Center accounts.
