Hello support team. I have a problem with the posts. I want to block the Date and the Author that is showed on Google. I did 2 print screens to show you what the problem is.

I want my content of the post to be displayed directly on Google, without the Date and the Author. Can I block that?

I hope that I was explaining correctly, because I am not english.

    Thank you.

You could hide the author and date using CSS, which shouldn't affect search engines.

Does your theme have a section regarding input of CSS named similarly to, "Custom CSS", or have you a Child Theme?

You can depending what theme you using and how is your index.php coded.
If you can paste your index.php and single.php files in http://wordpress.pastebin.com and paste urls here so we can look at code.

@Andrew if display none in css the code will still be there for search engines.

keep a back up of both files and try and delete code from line 99 t0 118 and see if it deletes the icons and author data

    if this works

    in single.php line 47 to 66
