[Resolved] i want my wordpress domain name to be a dot com

    i installed wordpress on 000webhost.com …they gave me a random domain name ..after i installed wordpress on it ..the link to my main page is http://www.daily-video-dosage.comule.com/wordpress …and i alredy purchased a domain name from go daddy (daily-video-dose.com)

    i just cant figure out how to make my wordpress a dot com site ..i really dont understand coding or anything i really need this ..so please describe with detail if u can ..i want it to fully function so that even my posts are linked to my dot com domain name (go daddy domain name)

    1. Contact your hosting provider to add the domain to your account.

    2. Change the two URLs at Settings/General in your admin panel to http://daily-video-dose.com (WordPress will stop functioning until step 3 is completed).

    3. Move all of the WordPress files to the new directory that your hosting provider created for daily-video-dose.com .

    (As this is a new domain, you may need to wait a few hours before you can access it after it has been setup by your hosting provider.)

    4. Login to your admin panel and re-save your permalink structure at Settings/Permalinks. If WordPress cannot automatically edit the .htaccess file, it will provide manual instructions after saving.
