I want a black bar across browser with links, help.

    @fawkesblog2

    If you check my site http://www.chrisfawkes.net in safari or firefox you will see i have a black line about 20px with my email and socila media links.

    Reality is that i have the links set above the page so it pushes the tiles down which means in Internet Explorer it will only show as white.

    So there is a better way to do it that will work on all browsers but after a few hours i don’t know what to do.

    Previously i had just set a top margin of 20px but could not work out how to put the links to display in it.

    What am i doing wrong, how can i get the look i’m after?

    Cheers all.

    Ok just had to add <body bgcolor = “black”> after the first div.

    I should have worked that out sooner.
