    Hi,
    I have upgraded wordpress 5.6 and i received a fatal error. Later I restored my files and database. My database did not have previous posts and pages.

    We checked with last 30 days database back up but my pages and posts are missing in database tables. I am using WP optimise for database optimisation. The plugin was active when auto backups were made. Can you confirm if this could be a problem because of WP optimize and if you can guide me for a solution?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • My whole system is broken as a result of your last update. Besides, my pictures are not visible. Updrafts didn’t let me upload backups. Now I’m trying to restore backups with the help of hosting. My first job when I succeed will be uninstalling your plugin …

    Hi @cadsinfo,

    This shouldn’t be the case. WP-OPtimize doesn’t delete posts, apart from revisions when required. Issues that can happen on updates are compatibility errors, which can be resolved by deactivating the plugin.

    Did you check the database files, or simply try restoring the database?

    The link you provided looks like a blank version of WordPress, so it looks more like the database is not correctly restored, or it’s using the wrong database.

    Best wishes,
    Marc

    @kerimusta Sorry about this issue

    Do you know which version you updated to?
    You can disable WP-Optimize by renaming it: using FTP. browse to your website’s root folder, and then to wp-content/plugins. Then rename wp-optimize to something else.

    Besides, my pictures are not visible.

    Could you share your website’s URL, to see if it’s something we can help with?

    Bes wishes,
    Marc
