I updated my EU VAT Assistant plugin to version 1.9.10.190508 earlier. That’s the version that appears on the site. However, when I go to a client’s site to fetch the update, it doesn’t appear.

I tried installing a much older version, and the update does appear, but the version number is incorrect. It says “update to 1.9.8.190327”, which was the previous version. When I run that update, then version 1.9.10.190508 is actually installed.

Is there any issue with the WP.org update server? Perhaps some cached old versions that still needs to be purged?

Thanks in advance for your time. 🙂

Two screenshots, to illustrate the issue:

That update was just released 36 minutes ago, I recommend checking again in an hour, it might just be caching.

Perfect. I asked because, usually, the update notification is almost instantaneous, but I guessed that there might be some “funny” caching stuff going on. 🙂

It usually is instantaneous, but there seems to be some slowness around here at the moment. 🙂
