I few hours ago, one of my blog was down, why i think it has been attacked? Well in my site i has been uploading some news against a few powerful gangs in my country, and last nite i had a lot of twitter activity showing new evidence. At this morning my site was absolutely down, i have my web in a godaddy linux deluxe hosting shared account, with many other websites, everyone of my other websites (non political content) has been working well, only my political blog is down.

At first i get a Internal Server Error, with some advice related to Apache and port 80, Ive been trying a lot of stuff, for a few hours i cant even access the content of my folder trough ftp. Now i could reach to them, i delete a hidden htaccess that was in a new folder on my server, change the permissions to 765, restore my htaccess file via ascii, and i can see the content now.

But the problem is that i cant see the design of my blog and cant get in to my dashboard, it seems that im able to log in, but i cant reach the dashboard, im tired, i wonder if someone have a solution to restore my blog first, and then a good guide to protect it. tks

finally its back, if somebody have a troble like this, try copying an image of your files from the file manager history, you can copy them (the image from a few days back) in a new folder and then replace your main folder blog with the new one, and boila, that works for me ;)
im not sure what it was but im looking for more security issues.

This happens to me if I mess with certain parts of the theme...the theme's creators built it in. I have reload the original of the offending page via FTP. Sadly, they don't TELL you that they want that to be there.
